This is a brilliant Zonta initiative which, each year on 25 November, reminds people all over the world that violence against women is unacceptable.
In Christchurch, those huge electronic billboards will carry our message – Zonta Says NO to Violence – in bright orange. This is courtesy of Vast Billboards, who have been very keen to support us for several years.
Most of the main libraries in Christchurch will have displays – again in orange – with several flyers and information sheets and lots of orange hearts strung around.
The Zonta Dragons boating team will carry the same message boldly on their T-shirts this summer at Regattas and competitions.
