On 8 November 2019 Zonta International will celebrate 100 years of service and advocacy at an International and local level.

One hundred years ago, a small group of pioneering women came together in Buffalo, New York with a vision to help all women realise greater equality while using their individual and collective expertise in service to their community.

Their vision became Zonta International, an organization that has grown to more than 29,000 members in 63 countries, working together to make gender equality a reality for women and girls worldwide.

Centennial celebrations will be held throughout the 2018 – 2010 biennium including our Inter-District Conference in Brisbane (6- 8 September 2019), District and Club celebrations throughout New Zealand on 8 November 2019, and ending with our 2020 International Convention in Chicago, Illinois, USA 5 – 7 July 2020).

Our Centennial Anniversary Chair, Barbara Pope, has developed some materials to assist Clubs in planning local celebrations.
